Product Overview:

The thrust rod conforms toIEC60950: 2013, IEC60065:2005 , IEC60529:2013, IEC 60884.1-2002 and etc.

It is used to process steady force test to external enclosures.

This tester can test household appliances, electrical accessories, lamps and lanterns, etc.
Used to test the mechanical strength of electrically conductive outer casings and conductive parts of outer casings of audio, video and similar electronic equipment
Equipment includes nylon handle + steel probe. Do shock proof test with wiring terminal, or open M6 threaded hole at the end of handle (for use with push tension meter).

Take IEC60950: 2013 clause 4.2.4 as an example:
External ENCLOSURES are subjected to a steady force of 250 N ± 5 N for a period of 5s, applied in turn to the top, bottom and sides of the ENCLOSURE fitted to the equipment, by means of a suitable test tool providing contact over a circular plane surface 30 mm in diameter. However, this test is not applied to the bottom of an ENCLOSURE of equipment having a mass of more than 18 kg.
